After two years of making announcement, through a press conference and press releases with a Hollywood star, finally the XStreamHD devices will be shipped immediately. The XStreamHD will be shipped on a bundled packages with the XStreamHD media gear included.

The bundle of the XStreamHD contains of a multiple receivers, home centralized NAS and a satellite dish. Satellite has made XStreamHD different with other cheap media streaming boxes, such as Rokus and Boxee Boxes. You will get your video content on XStreamHD media sever directly via Satellite. So you should buy the content from the XStreamHD platform, it can be TV shows or movies. The content will be pushed up to four DLNA-compatible set-top devices wirelessly.

The satellite dish makes XStreamHD special than other media streaming boxes. While the TV receivers with the bundled home media server is similar with other media streaming boxes. XStreamHD uses television-style C-band transmissions technology, not satellite internet. But, there is some problems with XStreamHD satellite. What satellite that they will use? Once, they said they wanted to launch their own satellites. And on other press release, they said that they would rent bandwidth from COMSAT satellites. The XStreamHD bundle will be priced from $400 to $500.
